Fun fact – Eminem was so convinced that Kendrick Lamar could be using a ghostwriter that he made the rapper write his verse for "Love Game," a track from the 2013 album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, without anyone else in the room.[1]

One US rapper has won a Pulitzer Prize: Kendrick Lamar. In 2018, Lamar won the Pulitzer Prize in Music for his 2017 album 'Damn.' He was the first rapper to win the award, and the first non-classical or jazz musician to do so.
